Hello guys! I just wondered if anybody actually fills client cards in their salons? Is it really such an important moment in our industry? What happens if we don't do it? What type of card do you use? Were do you purchase them? Let's share our experience it this thread...
In addition I just wanted to show the card I'm using at the moment...as I really struggled to find a proper one... I hope it will give some ideas to somebody...
It is a necessary part of your job to fill out a client record card, and keep it up to date. Usually this is required by your Local Council or Environmental Health Departments who can do spot checks on your salon. It is also something required by your Insurance. Should there ever be a problem and you are required to contact your Insurer if you do not have an up to date record card for the client involved then your Insurers won't cover you, as your Insurance will be void. Hope this helps.
Izzidoll,Thank you for reply!!! I do find client record card essential however i didn't know the part about insurance Embarassed this is really helpful to know!!! welcome to the forum BTW!!!!:)Hope to see you here often!x
