How do we promote our business?

I'm not the best with marketing:) but that is what I did...
1. Website- the best way to showcase your work, one thing is to say "I'm good" the other is to show how good you are...(in fact you can get one for free so why not to spend your time to create a website??)
2. Leaflets- I made sure they are in every postbox of every house in the area... it were the leaflets printed at home printer firstly to cut spending...
3. Offers- I have 25% OFF FIRST TWO VISITS, loyalty cards- every 10th treatment free, if you are full service salon- make the 10th free offer for a treatment your client didn't try before...
Friend refer- get your next treatment half price....
Every Wednesday- manicure is only £8.99 (£15 -usual price)
4. Advertise yourself at yell.page - it is free, so what can be better??
5. Make your profile on every single forum for nail technicians.
Make your clients happy- this is the best thing which works 100%!!!xxx

And remember that positive promotion of your own service is much better (and more professional) than pointing out the negatives in a rival's business.

"The salon down the road uses cheap powder" sounds bitter.

"My salon uses only branded, top quality powder" sounds much better.
