| Quite often I hear from my clients that the reason they don't want to wear L&P on their nails is because acrylic damages nails.... Are you agree with it? If you have any thoughts - this is the place to share!

| Acrylic does not damage natural nails. It is just a product sittng on top of the nail after all. What can ruin natural nails is a heavy handed nail technician who could thin out the nail plate too much with her file prior to applying acrylic products ( or Gel products). Modern products only need the natural oils & shine removed from the nail plate before they are applied, therefore the nail plate should receive no harsh treatment. Also what ruins natural nails is improper removal of acrylic (or again Gel) by picking or forcibly removing them. Enhancements should always be professionally removed by soaking in Product Remover/Acetone.

| To all said by izzidoll I would add that sometimes a clients can ruin their nails as well by picking, digging, dragging, biting...
